It is retailing for S$69.00 at DISTEXPRESS or at Apple Premium Resellers like Epicentre, Infinite and Challenger stores. I am using this right now for my MacBook Air 13″ as it is not adding any excessive weight/thickness to it. The casing material is also extremely reflective as seen in the photos. It is thinner and lighter than the STM Grip for MacBook Air but lacks the inner linings of the suede to protect the casing from scratching the MacBook Air. The case is pretty inexpensive so I highly recommend you at least give it a try and return it if you don't like it.Īmazon.Speck SeeThru for MacBook Air is a hardshell casing for the MacBook Air 11″/13″. I did put on some decal stickers and had no problem with them sticking onto the case. Fortunately my replacement case doesn't have this issue. Only downside is that the quality control on these can be hit or miss so parts of the clips that snap onto the MB can be too thin and will partially unclip easily or not fully clip on. It might take a little work with properly applying pressure to get the clips to snap on and putting it on first from the front or back-end if you're having issues with the opposite end not snapping on at first. Despite what the one review states, I have this case myself and can confirm it does fit an M1 Air. I'm honestly surprised this type of material isn't more common for MB cases since it's a lot better in my opinion.
Will speck 13 inch macbook air case fit all macbook air crack#
This one is made out of TPU so it's more flexible and durable than the typical plastic hard shell cases and can't crack like those ones. I realize it's the same brand as the one you tried, but this isn't the same case. If you haven't found one yet, I'd give this one a shot. Have any of you seen or read about anything that would fit the MBA M1 and serve it's purpose for my needs? The only legit cases that I've been able to find are the Tech21 cases on Apple's website and they're ~$90.

After reading the reviews of others like it, I'm finding that most of these cases that claim to fit the MBA M1 actually don't. Speck SeeThru for MacBook Air is a hardshell casing for the MacBook Air 11'/13'. I recently ordered a case from MOSISO on amazon, but the damn thing doesn't fit correctly on the bottom and the keyboard cover they sent doesn't even have the updated keys for the M1. I'd like a case for a little bit of protection from scratches, dents, etc., but mainly so I can sticker bomb it with some of my favorites without damaging the metal or having to peel everything off when reselling down the road. I recently purchased my first MacBook since 2009 and I'm looking to get a decent hard case for it.
